About the Company
Leanmap is an international operations consultancy, specializing in industrialization, rationalization and business turnarounds. We provide the strategies, world-class solutions, and interim management assistance to solve operational constraints, raise performance levels, and prepare our clients for the future. We operate from hubs in Switzerland, Hong Kong, and the United States to support companies worldwide to restructure, stabilize, and expand. We are called to optimize operational footprints, layout new factories, streamline processes, lead transformation programs, and bring mission-critical projects back on track. We thrive on change and enjoy solving problems while leading people to discover new ways of thinking and working.
The Leanmap Way
Our proven process of “Navigating to Results” sets us apart from traditional consulting firms simply because we simultaneously address people, processes, and systems to ensure that results are not only discussed but actually achieved. We act as partners to our clients, providing end-to-end services that span the entire spectrum, from the initial diagnostics to the full scale implementation of a transformation or turnaround program. With our deep technical knowledge, proven management expertise, and cross-cultural skills, we lead businesses to a new level of operating performance. We do this by emphasizing cooperation. We ‘roll up our sleeves’ and work side-by-side with our clients’ teams, leading them through the entire change process until results are achieved, gains are validated, and systems are in place to sustain them.
From Research to Result
We audit (Due Diligence), give advice (Consulting Solutions | Video), build capability (Certification Seminars | Video), measure performance (Benchmarking Audits | Video), provide improvement tools (Product Download | Video), and lead the implementation (Interim Management | Video) until stretch-targets are achieved. We lay out new factories, develop lean processes that shorten response-times, thus increasing customer satisfaction levels; we streamline research and development to get new products faster to market; we design and implement shared service centers to centralize support functions; we raise quality levels to reduce warranty exposure; and we boost operational efficiency to lower the cost base.
Coaches, Consultants, Navigators
We offer three engagement options to meet our clients’ needs. For basic engagements, we work as coaches, transferring knowledge to build skill and capability. If more assistance is required, we work as consultants to develop detailed solutions, ready for implementation. For maximum control over processes and results, we work as interim managers, ‘navigators’, leading the implementation until results are achieved and systems are in place to sustain them.
Impact is Key
We measure our success strictly by impact. Hard results are identified as improvements in speed, quality and profitability; and measured by tracking key performance indicators on the balanced scorecard. Soft results are identified as improvements in motivation, mindset and behavior, and assessed by survey.
