Lean, the customer-driven approach to solve operational business problems is the most effective way to strengthen position and competitiveness in any business. Lean focuses on what customers are willing to pay for, the VA or Value-Add, while eliminating all activities, materials, features which add cost without benefit to the end-customer. In our Lean Program, students learn to uncover hidden potentials and dramatically reduce waste while aligning people, processes, and systems to deliver better products and services to the market. Having successfully implemented a lean improvement (Kaizen) or transformation (Kaikaku) project, students complete the program as Certified Lean Champion or Certified Lean Executive.

Certified Lean Champion (Lean Green Belt)

The Green Belt program builds basic capability and is ideal for line managers to improve speed and efficiency in sales and marketing, sourcing and logistics, research and development, planning and production, finance and controlling. The program consists of three components: (1) theory, (2) project, and (3) impact. Participants, who pass the exam and deliver tangible impact from their project complete the program as a Certified Lean Champion (Green Belt).

Certified Lean Executive (Lean Black Belt)

The Black Belt program builds capability on the senior or executive level. Business leaders learn how to apply lean principles to reconfigure the business model and portfolio towards higher flexibility and effectiveness. Supported by a dedicated coach, they design and lead a lean-transformation program across the value-chain, making possible (and delivering) changes that were thought impossible.
