A comprehensive Lean rollout
brought the operation in Cuernavaca to Silver, covering the value-chain including planning, production, logistics, customer service, maintenance, quality, and human resources. Because no-one was exempt and no area excluded, the team was able to set new performance records. The Mexican leadership team is now preparing for their journey to Silver-Gold. Maturity level 3.5 represents an intermediate step between where they are now (3.0) and attaining Operational Excellence, level 4.0 on the Lean benchmarking scale.
