A comprehensive Lean rollout
brought the operation in Cuernavaca to ‘Silver‘, covering the value-chain including planning, production, logistics, customer service, maintenance, quality, and human resources. Because no-one was exempt and no area excluded, the team was able to set new performance records. The Mexican leadership team is now preparing for their journey to ‘Silver-Gold‘. Maturity level 3.5 represents an intermediate step between where the team is now (3.0) and attaining ‘Gold’ (4.0), representing 80% of operational excellence.
